If I take VLE to mean the same as LMS (Learning Management System on this side of the pond) then I would say Canvas. Over the past year we&#8217;ve moved from Blackboard to Canvas, and yes that is as much fun to do during a pandemic as you might have guessed (honestly though, it&#8217;s heartening to see multiple units, staff, faculty, and students work through this together as successfully as we did).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"giphy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/8OlT82jKm6Ugg\" width=\"480\" height=\"428\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/gifs\/gene-wilder-8OlT82jKm6Ugg\">via GIPHY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But if I think about this more broadly, as a Virtual Learning Environment in MY life, then I might have to say the #1 spot goes to Feedly. I bring in feeds across topics from digital pedagogy, to edtech and elearning, to education broadly, journal subscriptions, job boards, visual design, UX\/UI, and more. I learn so much from all of the authors out there who are keeping the blogosphere going strong.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a great question, because it&#8217;s vague.
