Have you invited guest speakers before? Have you been a guest speaker in someone else\u2019s class? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for you. Inviting a guest speaker into your classroom might be an effective strategy for your class to bring an author\u2019s first hand experience into your class, to discuss a recent development in your discipline with another leading expert, or to bring in alternative perspectives on a topic. However, in order to make the most of a guest speaker in your classroom requires careful planning.
