Each New Literacy adds to the palette of human interaction, and build upon existing literacies (Woolsey, 2005). However, this is a subject whose terminology is quite confused (Bawden, 2008). What does literacy mean in the 21st century? What are ICT Literacies? What do New Literacies have to do with teacher education?
