With over ten years of experience, I provide a suite of learning experience design services for clients in higher education, municipal, non-profit, and community organizations. LEARNING EXPERIENCE DESIGN
Beginning with an analysis of learning goals, learning, and the learners, I recommend efficient and practical experiences. Then, I work closely with clients from concept through continuous improvement using the most appropriate design models and methods.
OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES
Open licenses and OER are vast, and many clients find them daunting. I guide clients through all aspects of discovering, using, remixing, and creating OER. I clear the fog of using Creative Commons licenses and guide clients in choosing a license for their work.
Knowing where to invest resources in course revisions can be tricky. I work with clients to review their course content, interactions, engagement and accessibility. I provide overall findings and recommendations for improvement to make the course the best it can be.
As an author of a widely distributed ebook myself, I work with clients interested in creating digital books. Specializing in open textbook creation using Pressbooks, I bring clients’ ebooks to life by integrating interactive content with text, images, and video.
Is your team new to instructional design, technology-enhanced learning, or online learning? I work with clients to determine their needs and offer workshops, courses, communities of practice, and job aids. I focus on creating flexible and practical training for everyone.
Scenario-based learning offers a scalable, safe, and cost-effective way to practice processes and decision-making. I help clients improve knowledge transfer and performance by designing scenarios including timely, specific, and actionable feedback.
