Reflection on our teaching practice has been described in many ways, from problem solving to thinking creatively and critically, to thinking rationally about educational choices. What is consistent across definitions is that reflection is active, continuous, and involves purposeful decision making. More and more tools to support reflection have become available to teachers and now video-based reflection is more accessible than ever. In this workshop, we will demonstrate and discuss the use of the Swivl – available at CTL – for both use in the classroom, and as a reflective practice tool.
