Seeking Adult Educator Volunteers
Two Opportunities to Volunteer
Designers for Learning is seeking volunteers with adult education expertise (e.g., working with adult learners without a high school diploma and/or those with basic skills gaps) for an evaluation of educational resources. Volunteers are needed for either an:
- Evaluation Sprint: A short duration review of instructional materials using an online evaluation rubric from December 17, 2018 – January 7, 2019, or
- Extended Expert Review through May 2019.
Those who successfully complete their volunteer assignment in the Evaluation Sprint (approximately 4 hours) will receive a digital badge to add to your LinkedIn profile or other portfolio acknowledging your volunteer service on this project. In addition, selected individuals who volunteer additional time (completing a total of 20 hours) to assist with the Extended Expert Review of the instructional materials through May 2019 will be eligible for a stipend (up to $100) for their service.
