I don’t really fit into the edtech scene on this question. At least I don’t feel that way. When it comes to tech, shiny is almost never on the plate for me. I still use a 2012 Mac Mini as my primary desktop. Most other devices I run into the ground before purchasing a new to me one, and those are usually at least 1-2 generations old by the time I get one (like iPad or iPhone). I still play my WiiU and Sega Dreamcast and don’t know what I’ll do when these game systems finally give up the ghost. I have a Kenwood stereo from the 90s with a 5 disc CD changer, and you can bet that I still use that all the time. When it comes to tech, I don’t need new or shiny, and am totally ok with that. The stuff I have does what I need it to and I don’t feel constrained by that. Plus it saves a lot that I can spend elsewhere.
Guess this is a pass.
